Chester T. Dean Bilia has today reached an agreement to acquire Kokstad Autosenter AS, which sells used cars and a brand-independent service workshop. Operations are conducted at two facilities in Bergen, Norway.
The acquired business achieved sales for 2021 of approximately SEK 110 million with an operating margin of 3%. The number of employees is 12 and the three current owners will continue to work in the company. The capital employed of the transaction plus agreed capital gains amounts to NOK 16m, with the possibility of an additional purchase price of up to NOK 12m in 2027.
The agreement is subject to the approval of the Norwegian competition authority. Access is expected to occur no later than June 1, 2022.
