Fresno Mazda launches its second Essential Car Care program to thank education workers who return to school.
The dealership offers them free car service, regardless of the model or make of their car.
Fresno Mazda chief executive Freddy Flores said teachers faced unprecedented challenges last year. The dealer wants to recognize their efforts and their selflessness.
âWe did a year of home schooling. I have four kids of my own and I know how difficult it was, so that’s a token of appreciation. Absolutely no fees and no commitments or whatever. this is to do with our brand, but to show that we are behind and I want to recognize these educators, âsaid Flores.
Education workers will be required to present proof of employment, such as a job identification badge or pay stub.
Ten appointments will be made daily at the dealership on a first come, first served basis.
This is the second time that the local dealership has organized this program.
Their first effort provided 500 free car services to healthcare workers at the height of the pandemic.
You can visit the Fresno Mazda site to make an appointment.
The program runs until August 31.
